Malaysia, Tanah Tumpah Darahku

Although Malaysia is not perfect, and no country in the world is, I still think the positive aspects of Malaysia far outweigh the negatives. So let us focus on the positives, shall we?

The grass is not always greener on the other side. Let's appreciate our beloved Malaysia.

Thank you Malaysia for being such a wonderful and beautiful country. You are indeed my home sweet home, my Heaven on Earth! Happy Merdeka Day!! : )

The Moment of Malaysia

historical moment of Malaysian Independence day

MERDEKA, MERDEKA, MERDEKA, MERDEKA, MERDEKA, MERDEKA,MERDEKA!!
**7 times of shout by Tunku Abdul Rahman to symbolize, the freedom of Tanah Melayu.

The announcing of Independence Day of Malaysia, 31 August 1957

Through thick and thin, finally it worth. But, the question here, how did Tunku Abdul Rahman managed to get the freedom from British?

History has wrote it all and my main concern here, to share my knowledge on this. what use to be of Malaysian if we even do know how we got to stand at this era peacefully? Keep reading this entry, its gonna be fun.

Malaysia got its independence from the British on August 31, 1957 in a very peaceful manner through talks. Additionally, Malaysian independence was realised by three people of different cultures and religions

The background is that, after helping the British to win the war against the Japanese in WW2, the communists party in Malaya revolted against the British colonists, making a major strike in 1948 against British interests, e.g. the rubber plantations~~seeking to drive out the British~~who had a very hard time fighting against the "jungle rats" [who were very well organized], using what limited resources they still have, as most of which have been delepted by the war in Europe....

Because of this, the British handed Independence to the peoples of Malaya in 1957 because they knew that they are losing the war against the Communist Party.so they handed power over to the Malayans to fend for themselves..... However, the 11 states do not have the resources to do it, so they persuaded then Sarawak, North Borneo and Singapore to join them to form Malaysia in 16september (Hari Malaysia) Singapore wisely opted to leave later as it w . the communist was not able to overcome the united efforts of all the races in Malaysia to prevent it to create a communist democratic republic.

This is how the formation of Malaysia. The place that we are standing now. Interesting, right? :)

How Malaysia get its name?

Hai eveybody, it nice to be writing again. so today, I'm gonna share with you about a topic that fascinate me to write about and surely you guys might love it.

it is about how Malaysia get its name??

Basically, frow what I've read, the name of "Malaysia" was adopted in 1963 when the
Federation of Malaya, Singapore, North Borneo and Sarawak formed a 14-state federation.
Previously, Malaysia is well known as Tanah Melayu. However the name itself had been vaguely used to refer to areas in Southeast Asia prior to that.

The Philippines once contemplated naming their state "Malaysia", but Malaysia adopted
the name first in 1963 before the Philippines could act further on the matter.
Other names were contemplated for the 1963 federation.

Our pride, Jalur gemilang. It is representing our nation, Malaysia.

At that moment, Tanah Melayu was among the rapid develop country in East and amazingly, Malay language was used as Lingua Franca in worldwide! Nothing is impossible, we used to lead the economy and everything. we were in the top in the world, long time ago... but its not too late now, we still have the chance,to bring back the pride and glory of Malaysia. I believe, we can do this! :)

and lastly,

be proud of our food. somehow, its show our unity and uniqueness of being ONE community!

PEACE :D
