Every years, we are celebrating National Day as we are commemorating the independence of the Federation of Malay from British. People across country will gather on 31 August for parades at Dataran Merdeka in order to celebrate this Merdeka Day in the spirit of patriotism and love for the country, and honouring the sacrifices made by the security forces.

In this blog, I will bring back us to 56 years ago to nurture the spirits of patriotism to encourage youth to love our country. Basically, Merdeka Day is one of the most important event in Malaysia because it represent us as a free country with a numerous of development. Today, our nation comes with the slogan “Malaysiaku Berdaulat: Tanah Tumpahnya Darahku” (My Sovereign Malaysia. My Native land).
